For Years Ford has used ElecSound to design, build, install and maintain their inventory of show equipment for regional exhibitions. These systems are operated by locally hired presenters, so simplicity and reliability are of utmost importance.

All equipment must reside in a very compact compartment underneath a 16 ft. diameter turntable. There is no reliable way to remote the antennas, so Ford relies on the excellent RF performance of AKG wireless.

Auto Show AV support is a specialty for ElecSound. They are also responsible for the large international auto shows that Ford Motor Company participates in yearly, in Detroit, Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York City. ElecSound features AKG, Crown, and JBL in their systems, as well as dbx and BSS processing.

RINGWOOD, Ill. -- ElecSound designed, built and managed a 24,000W, 16-zone surround sound system for Ford’s Detroit, Chicago and New York auto shows.

With 56 JBL speakers and subs, Crown amps, BSS Processors and Audiobox players, ElecSound dynamically panned sound effects of cars, wind, splashes and musical effects all over Ford’s booth. This created an ambience like no other in the auto show arena.
